Hi all!

First of all, welcome to the list! This list will be used to inform you
about updates to the various components of eduVPN. Now on to the first
update!

Just now I released a new version of the vpn-server-node component,
version 1.0.2, which is now part of the official repository.

https://github.com/eduvpn/vpn-server-node/blob/master/CHANGES.md#102-2017-09-29

It is a minor change to trigger reauthentication, i.e. ask the user for
their 2nd factor again after 8 hours of being connected. Before, the
client could remain connected indefinitely. This change is ONLY relevant
for profiles that use 2FA.

To install the update(s):

    $ sudo yum clean expire-cache && sudo yum -y update

As this is a change in the OpenVPN server configuration file, in order
to apply this change, the `vpn-server-node-server-config` script needs
to run and the OpenVPN server processed restarted. Assuming your profile
ID, for the profile(s) that has 2FA enabled, is "office":

    $ sudo vpn-server-node-server-config --profile office
    $ sudo systemctl restart "openvpn-server at default-office-*"

Repeat this for all profiles that have 2FA enabled.

Let me know if you have any questions!

Cheers,
François
