<h1>New Release SP
Dashboard</h1>
A new version of the
Service Provider
Dashboard has been
released. In this
update, the
following changes
are effective:<br>
<br>
-On the test
environment you can
specify which IdP's
have access to your
entities.<br>
-Validation of the
entityID now allows
URI's, so that for
example also
entityID's in urn:
format will be
accepted.<br>
-Bugfixes<br>
<br>
With the SP
Dashboard, service
providers (including
institutions acting
as SP) can
independently
register and manage
entities on
SURFconext. For more
information, see the
wiki pages.<br>

<h1>Blog: key
rollover 2019:
what did we learn?</h1>
At the beginning of
2019, we replaced
the foundation of
the SURFconext
federation: the key
material. This was a
so-called key
rollover. It was a
major project that
required action by
all service
providers (or SPs).
Why did we do this,
how did we do it,
and what did we
learn?<br>

<h1>New SURFconext
information screen</h1>
Users who visit a
service via
SURFconext for the
first time will see
an information
screen. This screen
shows, among other
things, which
attributes are
exchanged. Recently
the information
screen was
thoroughly renewed.
<br>
<br>
One new feature is
that the motivation
why an attribute is
necessary for the
service is
displayed. SURF
believes it is
important for users
to be well informed
about the personal
data shared with
services through
SURFconext. You can
add the motivation
via the <a
moz-do-not-send="true"
href="https://sp.surfconext.nl/">SP Dashboard</a>. Do you not yet have
access to your
services in the SP
Dashboard of
SURFconext? Please

<h1>Revision
SURFconext
documentation:
input needed!</h1>
This summer the
SURFconext team will
revise the 'Get
Connexted' wiki
pages. For those who
never visited the
SURFconext
documentation; <a
moz-do-not-send="true"
href="https://wiki.surfnet.nl/display/surfconextdev/Get+Conexted">here
you find
information how to
connect and manage
your IdP or SP on
our platform</a>.
Although most
information is
present, we think
that enhancements
are possible.<br>
<br>
Please let us know
what you are missing
or have been missing
during the
connection process.
We appreciate your
comments or
suggestions to help
us improve our
documentation.<br>
