Hi eduVPN admins

We have been aware of a problem which affects users that use both eduVPN
and the Microsoft Office suite, including Office 365. Users may be
unable to connect to their mailbox using Outlook while eduVPN is active.

This is caused by a problem in Windows, where Windows reports the
connection as not working when the VPN tunnel is active. This occurs
with most VPN solutions, not only eduVPN.

For those affected, we have found a workaround that fixes the issue on
Windows, and does not negatively impact other platforms.

In /etc/vpn-server-api/config.php, make sure you set the following:

	'defaultGateway' => true,
	'routes' => ['0.0.0.0/0'],

NOTE: You may see in the comments that `defaultGateway` should be false,
this is not the case; `defaultGateway` must be set to `true`.

After making these changes, run the following on your VPN nodes to apply
the changes. This will cause all users to disconnect momentarily.

	sudo vpn-maint-apply-changes

After making these changes, Microsoft Office should work through eduVPN.
